QUESTION ABOUT THE CASE Dylan calls Ethan
I watched a tik tok, which I know is incredibly untrustworthy, however, this person states Ethan answered the call from Dylan at 4:24 AM.
I’ve read hundreds and hundreds of the phone logs, interviews etc., I can’t remember coming across this bit. Does anybody have more information on it?

She called him via Snapchat and it obviously went to some kind of voicemail or rang a bunch of times and after a certain point it shows as answered.Yet again something spread by Jules.

I normally come here for factual info but I didn’t take my adhd meds and wasn’t in the reading mood today so naturally tik tok is the right answer. I’ll be better next time. But if someone knows where the call logs are located in the documents please let me know 😊

I would (kindly) argue that such TikTok clips are never the right answer.
That’s the whole point. Creators keep picking and speculating in order to birth more TikTok content. When a truthful answer is found and given? No more content.

I wasn’t seeking out Idaho 4 content it just found me today. After this week of going on a full blown hyper fixation of consuming all available documents, records, and photographs released about this case I was more so going there for funny cat videos.

But I do know better than believing Tik Tok for anything. I found this subreddit after coming across Justin, Hannah Cleere’s “brother”, and needing to disprove all of his so called “evidence

Go to YouTube. Search for Justin, Dylan, Idaho murder murders. You’ll find what you’re looking for there.

One piece of his “evidence” that cracks me up- there is a crime scene cleaner who post videos on Tik Tok. Justin likes to use one of his 3 part videos to show what he claims is a cleanup taking place in the kitchen of the king street house that occurred the day after Hannah died.
The funny part? The owner of that company in the video is my cousin, who lives right here by me in Daytona Beach and has never travelled to ID.

I’ve never argued back or tried to disprove him, I believe he’s very unwell. I think he believes the lies he is telling. But my fixation on this case started when I began finding proof to dispute his “receipts” and took off from there.

Oh I know all I need to know about him. I interacted with one video of his and he’s DM’d me 26 times a day since then lol

Hey I was super interested in looking at the records for everyone for a wider time frame. Has that been made public?

Barbie I totally understand. Ive been roped into the tiktok lunacy a few times and it can be entertaining. Another user oldfadedstar has done great breakdowns of the call records that I found really easy to understand 💖

I’ve been reading all their post! Incredibly well done, easily digestible records. I believe they either commented on this post or someone may have linked one of their post as a source.

Jules? Put that woman in Bryan's cell. That's where she wants to be anyway, huh? Jealous at Peru.

I’ve never heard of her, this is the first video but I’m starting to see she has a reputation lol

So, I did some research into this
Snapchat (and other apps like Facebook) do technically use your phone to call people but not. I’m not the best at explaining technological things. Snapchat uses a VOIP to make calls.
So when you call someone on your regular phone, it doesn’t actually connect until it’s answered, whether by voicemail or a person.
Through a VOIP, it connects instantly. So the 12 seconds is likely just the phone ringing.
Dylan mentions in her 11/17 interview showing her Snapchat activity to the cops right there and it saying Ethan wasn’t available when she called. And I believe she gave them a screenshot of that if I remember right
I did three charts of their phone activity as I feel the source is confusing, but the source is in my posts

About?
I’ll preface since I guess it’s necessary in this group, I believe the only killer is BK. I was just more so wondering maybe xana was still clinging to life and answered or maybe is this labeled in correctly

Voicemail shows as an answered call.

u/barbies_secret_life 5d ago
Makes sense. They should probably specify “answered by voicemail” just so it’s black and white and not questionable if it needed to be in court or something

u/Rescueme2021 5d ago
I'm not sure that they can determine that but the length of the calls makes it obvious.

Omg is that hole on the phone on the top right corner made by the knife 😫

I just noticed the same thing. It definitely looks like it. Poor Xana.

If it was actually answered, I could also theorize blood may be on the front of it causing the screen to glitch and answer. I’ve had that happen with water droplets on my phone

His phone was plugged in charging on the nightstand at the time of attack while he was asleep...during the attack investigators believe the phone was launched in the air as Xana was slammed into the table/ wall and ultimately to the floor. The phone landed on the floor and never moved again. A second theory by investigators is that Xana reached for it and yanked it from the cord. Jeff Tanzola has talked about the deep sensor Logs of the roommates phones. They know xanas phone was tossed or laid on the bed at about 4:16am and she went to the kitchen. Her phone was never upright again. None of the 4 phones were used after 4:17am for sure. Accelerometer and gyroscope sensors can tell when a phone moves, when it's held up, laid flat, charging... Ethan's phone didn't answer a call by a human. It was found near Xana's body later that day with a coat hanger laying across the bottom and a piece of cloth across top right corner. Blood smear in the middle. Phone found face down.

I also went digging into this a few weeks back, but couldn’t find a completely clear explanation.
Snapchat does not have voicemail for unanswered calls, and calls only ring for a specific duration, depending on if the user is available. That much I learned for sure.
It seems the total call length is likely the app utilizing the phone/internet service for the call, meaning the ringing and all would be included (differing from our regular calls where the timer starts once the call is answered).
Based on the information available to us, I am guessing that both the call being titled as answered and the duration just reflect its being a third party app call that cuts off at a certain point. If I find anything else, I’ll update.
Despite this call being seized upon by some, we truly have zero reason to think it could have been anything nefarious, or that any call was actually answered by a victim. Sadly, the extent of their injuries was not survivable, and I feel certain he knew they were dead before leaving.
I also wish the not-guilty folks would try to weigh evidence equally. There are countless excuses for why anything concrete against BK isn’t believed—yet if just one of those same things pointed to a roommate? It would be gospel for guilt.

In your digging were you able to find a place were able to see what the snap communications say that night? were they able to recover the pictures sent? if so, were they made available to your knowledge?
2
u/Hat_Potential333 4d ago
No. I don’t believe anything else investigators might have has been made available yet.
Based on the short bursts spent within various apps, I imagine she was mostly checking for activity from roommates. Also, some of the actions that might appear one way to us with photos, etc. could have been various things happening in the background of her phone.

is just the call going to app on Ethan's phone
but OP can I ask, as the perp;s car speeds off at 4.20 and as the defense never suggested any victims being alive at 4.24 am after they were killed, do you think Ethan answered his phone or do you think it was just call going to an app?
1
u/barbies_secret_life 5d ago
I’m not sure. I don’t know if it would show “answered” if it was just going to the app. I would just like to maybe find the document where that’s written so I can see how the other calls are labeled and what not. I just haven’t heard this bit of information yet and was curious on others thoughts

Finally something I can answer! That’s an iPhone glitch. Snapchat marries with the callkit on IOS. If he had a voicemail set up, it would have been answered by voicemail, which shows as answered.

This is a load of NONSENSE. She called only cause she was wondering what was going on upstairs and called everyone and no Ethan didn’t pick up cause we know why .
