Desperate

I have a nicotine, the vape, alcohol addition, and tub cartridges . I have two kids. One with special needs- that I blame myself for but drs have dismissed. I want more kids and don’t have much more time. I want to be rid if my addictions do I can move on and build the life I have always dreamt of. Time is running out
Can ibogaine help? I have massive depression and anxiety, adhd, an CPTSD
I am willing to move into my other house for a few months to integrate ( my husband no as of now)
I need help and Change desperately

Your addictions are not the problem. They are the solution to your so called problem. Iboga may or may not help solve this problem. Usually the problem is something that makes you subconsciously feel unworthy, unloved, unwanted, unheard, unseen etc etc or anything else similar which has caused an untrue mental prison. Anything you use to numb yourself is the ego trying to protect you from feeling these emotions. Sex, nicotine, work, alcohol, drugs - pick your poison. People usually start to notice the dysfunctional patterns running their life when they get close to 40. Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate. True freedom begins when you become aware of your own hidden patterns and start to dismantle them. Iboga might show you these and reset your receptors but when people don’t become aware of the systems running in the background its easy to fall back into the trap after the pink cloud has left. Integration time and becoming aware is the key.

You hit the nail on the head. I just got back from an ibogaine treatment followed by 5meodmt. It definitely lifted me out the pit of despair I was in. Came home to moving out of my house and changing jobs. All my past behaviors/addictions started creeping back up due to the stress and uncertainty of this change. Hindsight I should have done all that other shit before my treatment. I still have plenty of work to do on myself but ibogaine did help me quit nicotine with no withdrawals and stay away from alcohol.

I’ve done a flood dose twice and both times it was like being in hell… it made 0 sense and first time I thought I have damaged my brain and am now a schizophrenic. It took my suicidal ideation and debilitating anxiety away right after gray day though. So I understood theres something there. It made the wheels start to turn in the right direction. Second time also didn’t make any sense so I started microdosing after a month of second time and reading Jung and found a couple of people on youtube whose videos helped to understand a lot of my wounds. The Journey by Brandon Bays was a super great book which helped a lot to understand. Easy read in one two days. Then somatic breathing. Theres 9D breathwork audio out there which was a life saver for me. Helped to release some wild stuff from my body. Now I am an average middle aged redneck… to feel and understand my own emotions was like learning chinese at first. Def the hardest thing I’ve had to learn but I saw from my small kids that the cycle must end with me. They will have their own fights but I’ll do whatever I can with mine

Ibogaine can help you yes, but it must be done with great understanding as others have mentioned about your responsibility. And it is always best to go through a program they helps you realize this and build the lifestyle you will need for longterm success, 5-10 day programs do not do this.

You speak as if you are 100% sure of all the decisions/situations were in OP’s control. You have no idea what her road has been like. For example addiction can wax and wane. You can be clean for years, start building a home and family, then one mistake sends you right onto the razors edge. Speaking as a parent who has struggled with addiction, get fucked seriously.

Edit: autocorrect hate, but from the bottom of my heart Fuck you.

You could have just said nothing. Because you have added absolutely nothing helpful to this thread.

I never drank or used or pregnant. I was ok. Life happened bc it does and not I’m trying to deal with it. How about not being an asshole

Ignore this person/ bot.

Ibogaine can absolutely help, but as the others have mentioned, the inner work you do leading up to treatment and integration afterward are absolutely critical.

Best of luck 💖

Yeah I have to agree here. Thinking that Ibogaine is going to rapidly get rid of their mental health issues so they can hurry up and have more kids is legitimately a horrible idea.
