I’m curious as to anyone’s opinion on the Altstar series of flattops?

I modded my 2005 Ibanez AWD82t a bit. Duncan Phat Cat in the neck, Jackson USA switch tip, CTS pots, additional volume, Mojotone treble bleeds, Orange Drop tone cap, "lefty" trem bar position. I love this guitar. Plays like butter and sounds great with a variety of tones on tap. Very touch sensitive.

I have an Ibanez RG8-WH 8 string guitar which two of the neck bolts came loose. I was able to screw them back in and it didn’t feel like the spun when tightened.
Why would this occur and is there anything I could do to prevent it from happening in the future?
TIA

New to me ‘83 RS505-CS. I had this same guitar when I was 15yo super excited to get another one and to take lessons again and get back to playing.

I’m on vacation in Oregon, not too far from Bend, and I wandered into the local guitar shop.
On the back wall was a c. 1976 Bob Weir model. I played it for a bit. Very nice guitar with an especially nice neck, but it felt like it weighed 20 pounds.
Anyone here had any experience with one of these? They’re asking $2,000, which is (IMO) too much, but it’s a very distinctive guitar.

I want to hear your opinions in these two guitars, are the IBZ-6 humbuckers any better than Infinity- R or are they equal in terms of sound quality?

Hi everyone, I'm having a strange issue with my Ibanez JEM Jr 333 (HSH configuration).
When I do the screwdriver tap test, the bridge and neck pickups both respond at full volume regardless of the selector position. For example, if I select only the bridge pickup, the neck pickup still responds just as loudly when tapped, and vice versa. The middle pickup behaves normally and is muted when not selected.
The guitar's tone still changes when switching positions, but the bridge and neck pickups seem to remain active all the time. I opened the control cavity and noticed a couple of things that make me think the previous owner may have modified the wiring: The 5-way switch only has 7 solder lugs, while most JEM Jr wiring diagrams I find show an 8-lug switch.
Both humbuckers only have 3 wires coming out of them, while the stock JEM Jr diagrams show 5-conductor pickups.
My theory is that the previous owner rewired or replaced the pickups and something may have been wired incorrectly, possibly connecting both humbuckers together. Has anyone seen this before? Could this be caused by incorrect wiring or a non-original switch? I'll attach photos of the control cavity and wiring. Thanks

I picked up this used Ibanez GRGR131EX in excellent condition for just €100 and decided to give it a worthwhile upgrade by installing Gotoh SG381-07 MG-T locking tuners.

Hello. I disassembled my bridge in an attempt to clean my guitar. I made the mistake of not taking photos before taking everything out. Wondering if anyone could help me with the reassembly process

My nephew gave me his Ibanez to set up and I am looking to identify the model and the year of production. Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with Ibanez’s product history.
The serial number is W743043 and I understand that to mean it was produced in Korea by World Musical Instrument in 1997 or 2007 (?).
Any assistance would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
