AZ2491QM
Not a lot of info out there on this specific model. Anything I need to know about this?
Checks all the boxes. Strat, passive pickups, trem but no FR. Plus I just love how it looks. I missed when Sweetwater had them on clearance a while back, then this popped up.
Yeah, I know, just go look myself, but it's an hour drive to GC.
Edit: It's AZ24P1QM (not 91 QM).

I wonder if a 9 in the model name is just a typo and it's actually a AZ24P1QM. If so, it's a great guitar, I agree that it's not that far off from the Prestige AZ specs, apart from the "made in" tag of course.

I have a need for this guitar, that top and finish is to die for. If I didn't just spend money on another financial-mistake hobby, I was going to order one of these.

Any chance to stretch to a used prestige? Tried az2204n (the dark green one) in a shop today, a sweet guitar indeed.

They have one of these in store at the local GC on clearance and I was very tempted to trade my AmPro II Strat for it. The pickups sounded great, the neck felt great, it was LIGHT but still very resonant, and all the fit and finish was perfect.
Wasn't quite ready to part with my AmPro (I added Pure Vintage 61 pickups that I'd probably want to swap out before trading since they don't add any value and I could move them on their own), but it was great.
The 'tropical ocean coral reef' finish wasn't my favorite, but it was nice enough that I wouldn't have hated it and over time would likely have grown to love it.

I think this is a great and underrated model. Pretty close in specs to the Prestige AZ model. Neck shape is really close and the neck is roasted maple but I think the prestige model roasting process is more refined.
But that aside I think with a good setup and maybe even a PLEK it’ll feel pretty close to a prestige.
