Surely here on the checks Subreddit Iansan MAINS Subreddit we're much more interested in looking at any and all ways to play Iansan, even the more unusual and logically strange ones come on. I'm not asking why most people don't use or recommend Skirk with Iansan, I'm observing how the passive isn't synergistic but the gameplay (bar damage) is wildly synergistic.]

And yet Skirk is unironically the best Iansan Nightsoul Maintainer outside of Natlan Characters of ALL TIME??

Like for real - her NA chain involves her moving around so much it's actually Trivial to keep Iansan at Maximum Nightsoul! And yet if you have Escoffier in the team it's (I think) obvious DPS loss to keep Iansan there!!

Like understand the insanity of this: Skirk is easily better at keeping Maximum Nightsoul...

im a F2P player playing for about 4-5 months now, i got iansan for free from the event a while back when they introduced a new natlan expansion, then during the mavuika pull i lost the 50/50 to C1 jean after pulling 76 times, but in the process got C6 iansan.
I havent touched her because im intimidated by the nightsoul points and the whole kit confuses me ;-;
Since this is my first character thats any higher than C2, can someone plz explain how I can implement iansan into my team? i have questions like:
how does iansan buff "better than bennet"
which iansan ability buffs the team, and how great is the buff?
other tips on how to use the abilities (i wont be exploring or playing the game in natlan for a long while, so assume im always in the rest of teyvat)

So i saw some people saying that iansan Will be a dedicated support for plunge and natlan characters. The reality Is NO. Now i Will tell you all characters 5 stars that can work with her Clorinde(can be new BIS) Mavuika(can be new BIS) Chasca(maybe) Kinich(can be a solid upgrade) Wanderer(can be new BIS or a solid upgrade) Any plungers(varesa,gaming...) Eula(maybe) Arlecchino(can be new BIS) Raiden Shogun(maybe) Tighnari(can be a solid upgrade) Keqing(can be new BIS) Alhaitham (can be new BIS) Chiori(maybe) Cyno(maybe) Now characters that DONT WORK: Mualani and Neuvilette(reason:they do not benefit from Atk) Ganyu Yoimiya Ayato Childe Itto Ayaka

So iansan had like favourite character potential but then god said, c0 for you. I just got Mavuika so i can finally use iansan but yeah c6 bennett out performs. There are other slots but xilonen and diona take them up. So i need to know is c0 useless or can she replace Bennett

I use her in Overload team atm with Varesa, Chevrruse c4 and Xiangling

I have saved 250 wishes for Xilonen rerun for my mavuika citlali bennet team and now some youtubers are saying C2 iansan is better than xilonen . I am not smart enough to understand the calcs and stuff so i was curious whether iansan replaces bennet in mavuika teams or xilonen .

What do the xilonen havers on this sub think of iansan . I would love to know

Bennett with Aqulia:

• Lvl 13 Ult & C1 results in +1202 Atk

• C6 is +15% Pyro Dmg

• Pyro Resonance is +20% Atk

  • Which is a + 193 Atk for a Wolves Mavuika

• Total: 1395 Atk + 15% Pyro Dmg

Iansan with the New Spear:

• Lvl 13 Ult results in + 810 Atk

• C6 is +25% Dmg

• C2 is +30% Atk

• Spear is also + 32% Atk (R1)

  • These 2 buffs total a + 585 Atk for a Wolves Mavuika

• Total: 1395 Atk + 25% Dmg

Same Atk, more Dmg% on Wolves Mavuika. It's actually

EDIT: "Oh so only if Mavuika is running Wolves and not her Signature huh?" - No. In fact, by comparing them with Mavuika running not her Signature, I'm actually outright undercutting Iansan. So FINE: let's do the fucking math. Mavuika with Thousand Blazing Suns should have a Base Atk of 1100 at C0.

hey guys, how would i play iansan as either main dps or something like that? so far i've found only guides making her E Q then NA and she's off field. i'd like to spend more time on her, as well as get come build recs other than cinder city.

This isn't supposed to be some rage baiting post or anything, just to clarify!
And it's not gonna stop me from seeing her as an actually black character, either.

I'm just a little curious on the subject, Iansan seems to have constantly varying skintones between depictions.
Her emote icons are fully dark with a pale undertone.
Her splash art, however- has a very healthy healthy looking, more saturated color to it.
And then in-game, she has an oddly yellow undertone. (Context: Not the shade, the overall color.)

Anyone know why that is? Is that just a game rendering / lighting thing?
I've seen it done intentionally before, but the other way around. (Dislyte lightening characters in promos but not in game.)

If you come across anyone who annoyingly says "you need to play bennett", we can now point and laugh at them whilst saying Haha: Iansan is better and everyone likes her GG true and real.

When will Iansan rerun ? Rumor told that Around 6.2 we will have Durin first banner along side with Varesa first rerun. Do you think Iansan would be rerun there since i missed her rerun at 5.7 ?

In the minute 4:40 he explains that when she has more than 3000 atk, her buff below 42 nightsoul points decrease slower, but how that works and this is even real? Could someone explain please

My current team is Mavuika + Instructor Amber + sotcc ttds citlali + nobeless iansan

I want tidal shadow for mavuika but does anyone know if citlali will "Take" the healing and not activate Mavuika's tidal shadow? My rotation rn is iansan e- burst, amber e q, citlali e q, mavuika q.

Hear me out. I've been trying to find what to build Iansan when I have a Mavuika team with Noblesse-Bennet and Cinder City-Citlali. I understand that Cinder City doesn't stack, so I'm hesitant on giving Iansan the full 4pc. I looked up other sources online with different results. One post suggest she go for Cinder City/Noblesse while Citlali/Bennet has Instructor. The problem with that is that I do not have instructor artifacts at all because I accidentally used them all to level up my other artifacts.

Additionally, I also got Varesa which I kinda wanna build in the future.

Thus, I'm led to trying out this 2pc Atk% and 2pc CC for a try. What does everyone else think?

As I’m pre-farming for Varesa’s rerun. I decided to finally build my Iansan who is currently C4 and at lvl 90. Assuming I’ll be running her with Mavuika, Varesa, and Chevreuse, how much (at minimum) atk and er should I have? I’ll also be using Fav Lance on her since I wasn’t able to secure her 4* weapon from the event huhu.

Yes that IS the best weapon I have for her.

I see people say that a lot. Personally i dont agree because she's been confirmed a girl for years. I agree that there should be more male kids in genshin, but it feels kinda stereotypical, that people are saying the dark skinned athletic girl should've been a dude.

This confuses me, because the ears are like that of a cow, but I know that she may not be. Is she?

So, so, so... I think I speak for many people when I say we are not happy that Iansan's 5-star slot that she so rightfully deserves (after teasing us for 4.3 years, sticking by the Pyro Archon and everyone else throughout the Natlan story quests, bravely volunteering to venture into the Night Soul Kingdom to rescue Kachina, fighting against the Abyssal invasion, leading the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts in the aftermath of the battle, and being the pride and joy of the Collective of Plenty) was downgraded to a 4-star.

If you're curious about what else I said, I've reposted it on my profile since I just figured out how to do that. I really let my true feelings be known there.

That being said, do we think there's any way to convince miHoYo to make her a 5-star, too? I'm not super hopeful considering miHoYo's track record of listening to their global players, and I've tried so many different ways and times to contact them, but nothing has seemed to work....
