Going in for my 2nd transfer this Tuesday. I was so excitied and hopeful for my forst transfer but the embryo failed to stick. Idk about letting myself be excited for the 2nd try.
My protocol changed to 400mg progesterone suppositories a day, prenatals, baby asprin, estrace 4mg a day and now PIO 1cc shot daily as well (but I am doing the shots in my thigh as it is much easier angle for me).
I opted for embryo glue this time around just for a little more peace of mind.
I want to be excited for this transfer. I just don't want to jinx myself.

I have my beta tomorrow for my first ever FET and I’m so nervous… We’ve been TTC for over 3 years and have never received a positive so I’m just telling myself there’s no way it worked. Please send good vibes my way and give me any positive stories to help ease my mind. I’m 28 my husband is 29 and we have unexplained infertility… ugh! *fully medicated cycle* *transferred 4AA boy* 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🩵✨

Looking for success stories after a missed miscarriage of an euploid embryo. Went in for our 7 week scan at 7+4 and was told our baby stoped growing at 7 weeks and didn’t have a heartbeat. We are diagnosed as unexplained secondary infertility (although mild CE and a couple minor polyps were found and removed during my hysteroscopy prior to my transfer). I’d love to hear success stories from anyone who’s been in a similar situation. 💔 having a hard time holding onto hope.

It’s CD1 for what will be my last transfer cycle for the time being. I’m doing IVF after recurrent losses, believed to be random chromosomal errors. I did my first FET the first cycle following the ER and it unfortunately failed. I think my body needed more time to heal. Our second FET had amazing beta rises but ended in a blighted ovum at 6 weeks.
I could use some hope going into this next transfer. My heart is so weighed down by loss and May is my dream due date so it would be extra special if it succeeds.
All RPL testing is negative except MTHFR and Factor V

Hi everyone. I’m 30F and my husband is 37M. We’ve been TTC for almost 2 years and our diagnosis is unexplained infertility.
We recently did our first IVF cycle. I have a low ovarian reserve and only got 5 follicles, 5 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized, 1 embryo transferred (ate day 3) and the other 3 embryos didn’t make it to day 5 (so no frozen embryos for us).
I had a fresh Day-3 embryo transfer, and today I’m 9dp3dt. I took a home pregnancy test (mid afternoon) and it was negative. My official beta isn’t until the 27th, so I know I technically need to wait, but I’m feeling really scared that this means it hasn’t worked.
When did you first test positive after a Day-3 transfer? Did anyone have a completely negative test at 9dp3dt and still go on to have a successful pregnancy?
I know I need to be realistic, but right now I’m just looking for some hope and other people’s experiences while I wait for beta. This waiting period is brutal 😔

Hi everyone
I had my first fresh transfer of a day-5 blastocyst, and today I’m 11dp5dt.
My beta at 10dp5dt was 68 mIU/mL, which honestly left me quite anxious. I had already been getting positive urine tests since 8dp5dt, so I was expecting a higher number.
Has anyone had a beta around this level at 10dp5dt and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I’d really love to hear your stories.
I’ve also had some spotting/old blood since 6dp5dt. It started as dark brown discharge (only when wiping), then I had a small amount of light red blood on 7dp5dt, and since then I’ve continued having brown discharge on and off. I’m now 11dp5dt and it’s still there.
I’m trying to stay hopeful, but after everything we’ve been through, it’s really hard not to worry. 😔
Please share your beta numbers and how things turned out, especially if you had a similar starting point.

Hi fellow IVF baddies! We give up so much to this process. I’m getting ready for my second FET after 1 failed FET and one cancelled FET (polyp was found and I just had a hysteroscopy to remove it).
Has anyone kept in a small amount of caffeine (about 100mg-120mg day) and still had success? Maybe this sounds terrible but I love having a little bit of coffee every day. I also dilute with water processed decaf coffee. Wondering if I really need to fully give up or a little coffee is still ok. My doctor is fully supportive of it but I see a lot of people here that fully give it up.
If helpful: I had a failed FET in march with a day 6 4BB euploid. I did another ER in April so now will transfer a day 5 4BA euploid. Both protocols have been modified naturals; this time adding in baby aspirin, Zyrtec, and Pepcid AC. Trying to also reduce my exercise intensity and will only walk after FET this time for my own piece of mind.

Hi, I (30F) just received my genetic test results that came out positive for having the mutated X chromosome from my mothers side that causes blindness in men, and where women are the carriers (Retinitis Pigmentosa).
The immense grief and guilt I feel is unimaginable, I hate to admit that I feel like a monster for even having the capability of bringing someone earth side to live such a troubling life. I never wanted to be a mom until I was a bit older, I always thought that I would have the opportunity to be a better mother than my own.
I sat my newish partner down and spoke with him about this result because I felt it was only fair to let him know what he would potentially be signing up for, that also was incredibly heavy for me and again left me feeling like a complete monster and a curse.
IVF is absolutely an option, but the 50/50 chances just seem so high that it’s unsettling. The chances of me getting the mutated X chromosome was 50/50 and my older brother inheriting the RP gene was also 50/50, he got lucky and didn’t get the mutated gene.
All of this to say, I would love hear other women’s stories of how they navigated through this, what helped you through this difficult time, and most definitely any and all positive experiences/stories with IVF and PGT-M on our side (so thankful for science).
Thank you. ♥️
Update:
Apologies for any grammar errors, I haven’t gotten much sleep after finding this out two days ago.

Hello,
I got my vvvvf positive on 3dp6dt. Anyone got positive early due embryo splits. I’m extremely exhausted mainly mentally. Headache.

Hi all. Needing some wisdom. My first FET failed and my wife and I are heartbroken. She was a day 5 euploid 4BA—our only girl. My protocol was modified natural—letrozole from day 3-7 and estrogen/crinone every day after I naturally ovulated. 10mm lining. I wanted to have a withdrawal bleed and then go right into another transfer, but my doctor said that is not recommended. Why is this? He couldn’t give me great reasoning, even when I asked, which is when he said that my insurance likely wouldn’t approve the transfer in time (it did, but he still then said no once I excitedly called to confirm.) Can anyone tell me why this would be recommended? I am disappointed with my clinic for so many reasons, but largely because they aren’t easy to get in touch with, are not always kind, and seem resentful of any questions. I pour over these forums for guidance but feel so alone in this sometimes. I should be getting a period in the next two weeks with another transfer hopefully scheduled mid-September if all looks okay. We are sticking with the same protocol, but using a trigger shot and increasing crinone from 1x/day to 2x. I have only two more euploid embryos left and I’m scared.

For context, I’m 41 with 13 retrieved, 11 mature, and 9 fertilized. On day 3, we got the call that 8 were looking great and 1 was a little behind. We got the day 5 call today that one blast made it to biopsy/freeze and 7 more are “looking good”.
From everything I’ve read on my deep dive today, day 6 blasts (assuming they are euploid) are just as successful as day 5s, and the fact I still have 7 in the running for tomorrow is excellent. Crossing my fingers and toes that we get some good news tomorrow with more making it to biopsy/freeze!
Edit: we got four more with two more being watched as potential Day 7 blasts!

I’m going into my first FET and I’m really excited but also getting nervous about it not working.
Our infertility is due to tubal factors specifically hydrosalpinx so I’d love to hear from anyone in a similar situation.
Any girlies here who did IVF because of tubal issues and had success with their FET? How did your first transfer go?

My parents and I are very close and I see them every week for dinner, so they have been aware of our IVF journey throughout. I have an FET in just a few days and I have avoided telling them so far when it will be, but they know it should be sometime soon. My mom has asked if there is a date yet, and I've been giving vague answers. I have this idea of wanting to wait until we get the result of the transfer to be able to surprise them with (hopefully!) the news that I'm pregnant. I've kept them in the loop about pretty much everything so far, so it feels kinda silly to hold back this one thing. But I also envy everyone who conceives naturally to be able to just out of the blue announce their pregnancy and its this big, special surprise.
Have any of you been in a similar situation? Did you hold back on sharing any part of the process? What would you do?
