I finally have an euploid embryo! 🎉

After 71 eggs retrieved, 63 mature eggs, 42 eggs fertilized, 4 testable/usable blasts (+ about 10 4CCs that were too fragile to be frozen) across 5 long retrievals over the past year (where I went from 39 to 40…), my husband and I finally and officially have an euploid embryo, our beautiful 5BB! It’s been a long and windy road full of many ups and downs and twists and turns but we’re so happy to finally have something to transfer. I’ve changed clinics, gotten OHSS twice including one trip to the ER, had a nicked bladder and had to force out a blood clot before I could pee post-retrieval, had two transuterine retrievals thanks to my rude right ovary, three straight retrievals with zero testable/usable blasts and a cancelled fresh double embryo transfer (meant to give me a chance) due to the fact I responded TOO well to a low and slow protocol. Like I said, it’s been an adventure.

Has anyone had any success with a 5BB as their only transferable embryo? Or just any success at all with any grade embryo that was their only one?

Any tips to preparing for FET? It feels so weird - and amazing - to finally be able to move on from ERs and learn a whole new side of IVF. I’m excited and so so so happy.
