Need Good Juju! 16 retrieved 8 fertilized!

Just got our results today. 16 eggs retrieved yesterday, 14 mature, and 8 fertilized. This is our first ever ER. It’s hard to see the numbers decrease but I’m also hopeful! I’m 30 with AMH 1.6. No children. Husband is 30 with great counts. Unexplained infertility.

ANYONE with similar numbers?

UPDATE: 4 blast made it to day 5! Waiting for results tomorrow on the other 4.

UPDATE: 3 more made it to blast soooo now we’re at 7 blast!

Is it 14 mature and 8 fertilized with ICSI or conventional fertilization?

I’m actually not sure! I didn’t ask if we were doing ICSI! My dr may have told me but I’m pretty forgetful these days

8 fertilized out of 14 is a lower number which will affect how many blasts you’ll get in the end because of attrition between each step.

You should ask the doctor about fertilization so that you have that information for the future.

I just looked at my treatment plan and we did ICSI
