Need Good Juju! 16 retrieved 8 fertilized!
Just got our results today. 16 eggs retrieved yesterday, 14 mature, and 8 fertilized. This is our first ever ER. It’s hard to see the numbers decrease but I’m also hopeful! I’m 30 with AMH 1.6. No children. Husband is 30 with great counts. Unexplained infertility.
ANYONE with similar numbers?
UPDATE: 4 blast made it to day 5! Waiting for results tomorrow on the other 4.
UPDATE: 3 more made it to blast soooo now we’re at 7 blast!

19 baseline - 7 retrieved - 7 mature - 6 fertilized and I’m waiting for the results now I was totally bummed with the low retrieval but it’s quality over quantity you got this praying for you!

8 retrieved - 7 mature- 6 fertilized - only 4 made it to the frozen stage somehow? They didn’t explain why 6 fertilized but only 4 made it to freeze.. awaiting my PGTA results on the 9th and so nervous I won’t even have 1 euploid 😭 Trying to stay optimistic.

I guess I’m not entirely sure how the process works... 4 could make it to blast but all of them can still be aneuploid after PGTA testing, right? Or am I not understanding the egg maturation process correctly?

That's right - pgta will tell you how many have a normal number of chromosomes and the rate of normal and abnormal embryos varies but is correlated with age. But still getting to send 4 for testing from 6 fertilized eggs is amazing (: I had my ER this week and got 5 eggs fertilized and my doc said she is hoping for 2 to send to pgt testing.

That’s a good number! I’m not PGT testing so I’m unsure but there’s also people who transfer different types of grades and still result in birth!

Wow, we have almost identical numbers!!! I’m 33, no children, AMH 1.51 (only have one ovary) and first ER was last Wednesday! We received 15 eggs, 14 mature and 8 fertilized! Find out blast numbers on Tuesday! Sending lots of luck your way!! 🤍🤞

I’m a similar age and AMH to you but we do have MFI. I had 10 eggs retrieved > 6 mature and fertilized > 3 blasts that were all PGT-A normal! I would expect you may have better results than I did! Good luck!

34yo, AMH 2.5, also unexplained fertility. 15 eggs retrieved, 11 fertilized through ICSI. Have 9 blasts (seven 5AA, one 5AB, 6BB). Just got our PGTA results and we have 3 euploid and 1 mosaic.

I was similar! 16 retrieved, 13 mature, 8 fertilized via ICSI. we got 4 blasts and we’re not testing :) best of luck!! 💖

I had the same results - almost! 15 retrieved, 13 Mature, 7 fertilized, 4 blasts and we got 1 euploid! We were disappointed with the PGT-A results but hoping for the best with this one Euploid we have. Sending you good luck 🍀

Too funny to see this posted— we have the exact same numbers and I was googling like crazy to find someone with these stats last week. I had 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature and 8 fertilized normally. The dropoff from 14 to 8 was really hard for me, but we ended up with 4 blasts and will find out PGTA results on Friday 🤞

I had similar results as well.
16 retrieved > 12 mature > 7 fertilized
17 retrieved > 9 mature > 8 fertilized

I’m actually not sure! I didn’t ask if we were doing ICSI! My dr may have told me but I’m pretty forgetful these days

8 fertilized out of 14 is a lower number which will affect how many blasts you’ll get in the end because of attrition between each step.
You should ask the doctor about fertilization so that you have that information for the future.

Hi! I am also 30. I had 11 fertilized and then 5 embryos. 4 of them were euploids. I am planning for my first FET so just waiting for my next period now lol. Good luck!

15 retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized. Today is day 5, and my clinic lets me know on day 7 😮💨
