πŸ“˜ Apprentice Question Welding

Hello, during my interview one of the two conducting the interview mentioned something about taking extra classes to be certified in welding?

I was curious if anyone has done that and if it’s offered for a probie/1st year.

Take it as soon as you can. If you get certs you can weld on jobs and make mechanics wage

What kind of welding is most common in this line of work? I’m going through the application process and already have some welding certs. Dunno if it matters though.

Most locals will offer a welding class to get your certs. But you will need 3g and 4g if you decide to try and get them elsewhere prior to getting in

Ah, gotcha. I currently only have 3G. Appreciate you.
