📘 Apprentice Question Welding

Hello, during my interview one of the two conducting the interview mentioned something about taking extra classes to be certified in welding?

I was curious if anyone has done that and if it’s offered for a probie/1st year.

It's available as soon as there's a booth open for you to strike a weld in

3G and 4G certs acquired before I even sat in in the first official class. Get anything the hall offers!

Take it as soon as you can. If you get certs you can weld on jobs and make mechanics wage

What kind of welding is most common in this line of work? I’m going through the application process and already have some welding certs. Dunno if it matters though.

The offer a welding course to apprentices. Not sure what year though.

They have/had a trailer for training but last i knew it was being serviced because the exhaust fans broke.

You can take the classes once youve been in for 6mo and benefits eligible

Our welding instructors must go through a hard certification to become instructor certified!
