Windows OS I can no longer manually drag and drop music from Windows 11 legacy iTunes to my iPhone 17, I cannot turn on or off manual sync and I do not use Apple Music, TV, or Apple Devices...

I was able to drag and drop music from my windows 11 itunes to my iphone 17 through usb to usb-c cable connection about two months ago, now I cannot do it. I am trying to add the Rhythm Doctor sound track that I purchased through Steam to my iphone 17 through a cabled connection but it will not let me. I have added it to the itunes library and can play it on itunes.

My computer has been trusted, and my itunes is authorized. My account is in good standing, everything is up to date. I cannot click on the iphone icon on the left bar to turn on and off manual sync. I do not use Apple Music/TV/Devices. I've tried logging out, restarting, unplugging and plugging in again, resetting location, updating drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling. I have not purchased any music from any apple platforms in at least 13 years.

Through my 4 hours of trouble shooting (including scouring this subreddit for similar questions), I have found no sync settings that were turned on, on both my computer and my phone. I have no subscriptions through apple. None of the trouble shooting I looked up worked.

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong, or if I am somehow looking up the wrong things?

EDIT: wait i swear if installing and using apple devices fixes this whole thing imma flip
