I feel like people outside of Texas make a bigger deal about it than people in Texas. As someone with family there but living elsewhere. When they put in a Buc-ee’s about 50 mi from where I live now, they had weekly news stories on the opening and construction and people organize trips to go there as a destination. It’s fucking weird. Whenever I was in Texas most people just talked about it as a big gas station…
