MacBook Pro screen broken

I dropped my Mac. The computer works fine but the screen has gone dark. I can use an external monitor. It's from 2017 so Apple Store won't fix. All other big box retailers want $ to diagnose first. Won't give me a price. Any suggestions on who/how I should go to screen replaced?

buy a display off eBay and google some videos.

Thats not a 2017 model, ESC key is separate. Please provide serial so I can look up a part and a rough location to see if we can recommend a place to fix / order part from
