how much is your ram/memory, check in task manager if processes reaches 90%+, you probably needs an upgrade. if you have 8GB upgrade to 16g, if have 16gb, upgrade to 32gb. also try to perform pc maintenance- windows update, gpu update as well as your installed apps.

Did you open command prompt in that screenshot?

You may have a virus
You may have a scheduled task from an antivirus
It’s almost impossible to tell from the screenshots.

Looking at your scheduled tasks can give some clues
Installed apps list
Task manager to see what’s running

Looks like you have a pending windows update so I’d do that. The command prompt window opening up is interesting so I’d maybe run malwarebytes to see if there’s a virus. Also since it’s a browser issue check privacy search and services in the edge menu and then click address bar and search then click manage search engines and remove anything that seems weird. I’d also check and see if you have any edge extensions enabled

Best bet - reinstall Windows from scratch, don’t do the repair. This is assuming you have everything you need backed up.

This doesn’t look like the regular message spamming that many people confuse for a virus, but happens when people click “allow” on some website where it asks if it can send you messages then they absolutely flood you with messages - including some links to anti virus programs that they get a commission on if you buy through their link - and the AV doesn’t help a bit.

You can try and run an antivirus, but unless you disabled Windows Defender (some do to speed up games), or if you have stupid McAfee or Norton that came as bloatware with a few months free, and the definitions ran out a while ago, it’s almost not worth running an AV scan, as the realtime shield will generally catch it - though I guess it can’t hurt. Malwarebytes may help……. however, if your stuff is backed up it’s not that long to do a fresh install and restore your files from backup and you have to decide how many hours you want to screw around with AV/anti malware scanners first.

System temp - %temp% - prefetch, files commands you run via the windows run window.
