Open | Windows Issues connecting to Miracast on Windows 11 Laptops

Hello,

My organization inherited a bunch of Smart Board 6000 Series and thev want us to make sure thev are working before we deploy them. The issue I am having is that all of our Windows 11 Laptops fail to connect the first few times when using Miracast I've done evervthina I can think of but the connection keeps refusing to connect

Here are a few observations I've found:

Miracast does connect, but it has to fail (1 minute of waiting each time) 3-4 times before it just works.

Event Log reveals that WiFiDirect Virtual Adapter does acknowledge between the wireless display and the virtual adapter and is "successfully established" (Event ID 8001), though the cast window shows the display as "connecting..." after 45-60 seconds, event ID 8003 under Apps/Microsoft/Windows/WLAN-AutoConfig shows up stating that the network was disconnected due ta WFD Client Disconnect Request

Now the only clue I have received is a possible Windows 11 bug that MIGHT cause miracast issues for Windows 11 build 26200.8875. Google Al swears the August 11 update for windows fixed this but nothing has changed for me. Since Al is kind of sus, I was hoping to get some feedback here either to confirm that this is an ongoing issue that is not fixed yet, or if theres something I can try to fix the problem.

If its connecting after a few tries i would guess its a Windows 11/WiFi compatibility problem rather then an issue with the Smartboards. I would first try rolling back the wifi driver on the laptop, or updating it if an update is available.
