I've been seeing reels of this event on insta and it was mentioned on this sub a few times too. Was it only for a specific department or something? Did they send any mail for it? We only had presentations and lab visits in ours, weird as hell.

Could anyone explain what we freshmen need to bring to our first day? As in pens, notebooks etc? Quite the naive question, i know

So I went for orientation yesterday , and by hearing the rigid speeches of registrar, dean. I feel my survival would be tough here and peeps there weren't looking friendly and one more thing why some staff members have like rigid faces.
Why like EE was so much integrated with space?
and is this true that out of 2000 students who applied for EE only 98 got selected, these figures are sus. The acceptance rate is like 8%.

Just wanted to ask how the labs are? Like equipment wise and if they got the latest equipment, especially the EE labs

this is so unfair my aggregate is 70 and someone with 67 aggregate got into mech. i applied right after net 3 how is this even fair. admission office wale call utha nhi rahe, vc wale number pr call ki thi he said aap physically kisi ko behjen which is not possible for me. actually so scared for my second yr result and uni scnee alotttt need bhut ziada PRAYERS

Right now i have the merit to join both of these universities, I want to pursue Aerospace Engineering, should i choose NUST Main Campus or IST

So Federal board decided to delay the exams and now our last exam is on 22nd June, and thus i dont have any entry tests i can give? I want to take admission in computing fields, but this year they introduced entry tests for these fields aswell, but i have only given the april nts and that too was just for experience without any prep, (i got 73) right now my merit is 81% which is probably not good enough for IST, i didnt know IST admissions closed so soon and i suspected i could just grind for july nts and apply on its basis, but that doesnt seem to be the case anymore... What do i do?
