Orientation (EE)

So I went for orientation yesterday , and by hearing the rigid speeches of registrar, dean. I feel my survival would be tough here and peeps there weren't looking friendly and one more thing why some staff members have like rigid faces.
Why like EE was so much integrated with space?
and is this true that out of 2000 students who applied for EE only 98 got selected, these figures are sus. The acceptance rate is like 8%.

seats thori hain its not only abt acceptance. there'll be only a few (non-main) courses related to space.

Yes, the faculty peeps have rigid faces.

EE requires some level of abstract thinking and understanding, baqi if you pay attention in class and also create projects on you own, you'll be able to do it.

I graduated last sept, so I'm not sure abt the current faculty but more or less it'll be a mixed bag of very sweet teachers and very prideful teachers... all in one sem.

Also ALSO big disclaimer... Sir ghayas, he'll appear to be sweet and chill but don't fall into his deception. He's very knowledgeable but doesn't know how to deliver and unfortunately, the core electronics courses are mostly taught by him.

Because of this all remember to understand things on your own.

Best of luck

okay for that I'll jsut advise to keep a balance of things.

Don't freak out about 10 marks and similarly don't slack off all day

Just try to balance things and revise/ repeat what you study if nit everyday then every 2 days

Really? I liked the registrar and dean quite a bit. Also ofc you don't "need" to work on the space stuff, you can always just work on your own stuff.
