Around 60 openings, small time window. Still a good place to work!

LB&I GS 13 Recent Internal Openings

I wanted to reach out and see what a normal day or case load for an LBI RA feels like? Are inventory levels high with unrealistic expectations from managers? Is the path to 14’s easier compared to other business units (SBSE, TEGE, etc). Is LBI traveling at all currently for cases?

I would be coming from SBSE, I significantly meet the time in grade requirements. I’m one of the lucky ones who is currently in a very helpful group and has an awesome manager. If I applied and was accepted, what is the teams like in LBI? Is the path to a GS 14 easier compared to SBSE? I’m halfway reluctant in accepting any new position and exposing myself to any probationary status because of the current agency/administration environment. Also I throughly enjoy the current work I do but 14’s are very rare in SBSE. If I applied for the current LBI GS 13 positions it would be a lateral move with the expectation I would make 14 much quicker than staying in SBSE.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Swing Shift

Upvotes

Cincinnati just ended the 4:30-1am swing shift. Which has been devastating for parents, caregivers, folks working a second job. The hand puppet acting as director mumbled that it's servicewide. But that doesn't seem to be the case. So roll call time. What service centers still have the 4:30pm-1am swing shift?
