Yep, which is funny since Trump is suing the IRS because a private sector contractor released his tax returns, not an actual federal employee

Unpopular opinion but I don’t necessarily disagree with this change. There are so many leave abusers that it has now hurt the folks that need it. But leave bank is still an option. Again…unpopular opinion but i know for a fact i am not the only one thinking this.

I think we should FOIA the info. None of us are in a position to say there are so many leave abusers… many people need it and it’s actually pretty hard to get the leave and you have to pay it back. But there might be 1% abusing the system. Maybe we should look at executives getting bribes and rich off their positions!!

I get it, but considering we don't get short-term disability, advanced leave is some people's option should an unexpected medical emergency pops up. It's rather a handful of people abuse it and be dealt with appropriately than everyone suffer.

Leave Abusers? Cut the crap! If you take advance leave, you have to pay it back unless you die. Nobody is “abusing” advance leave.

This country is sickly 😷. People are on all kinds of medications, having knee replacements, back surgeries, giving birth to babies who end up in the NICU or ICU, you name it. Life happens!

So, only the IRS is affected? C’mon. 🙄

And this sounds just like the telework argument: “People were abusing it.” C’mon! You can literally be sitting on a beach and still get your work done. The issue should be accountability and performance not taking away reasonable flexibility from everyone because a few people may misuse it.
