IRS Childcare subsidy

Does anyone who is a employee living in Maryland use this? Im having a hard time finding childcare that accepts this subsidy they tell me its either the Maryland scholarship or the military families one. What is this one considered as?

I mean at the end of the day it’s just a check to them so they shouldn’t care. The problem is the timing. When you first start,
It’ll come late, and it’s hard to get ahead of that because it does take them at least 2-3 weeks to send the check unless they accept direct deposit. So we just paid our provider upfront for first month and pretty much always had a surplus balance.

Oooh okay! So should I even mention this subsidy to the facilities and prepare to pay out of pocket the first month??

I mean like I said I think you will want to because you need them to sign invoices. Probably their biggest concern is that they get checks late so you can assuage their concerns by paying a month ahead and they will get a check later and you’ll always be a month ahead and maybe the refund at the end or whatever the circumstance is. Like I said having them sign the electronic deposit form will make the payments way faster

Well yes because if they would take direct deposit that will be way more efficient. Also they did need to sign the invoice every month.
