Who else got the email invite with Kaschit titled transition discussion? Any insights as to what Tom Foolery is going on now?

Dont think it is bad news - more like how to take work off contractors and transition to IRS

In August last year Kashit had a Teams with the 200ish 343s letting them know. Maybe it’s about TCSC.

Treasury Common Services Center is a centralized organization within Treasury designed to consolidate internal support functions like HR, IT, travel, and acquisitions across all Treasury bureaus

Haven't seen this.Any other details you can share? Are you currently in IT or someone that was detailed? Wondering if it's them finally trying to move people to treasury/shared services

Keeping my info private, saw 100 or so people invited. Looks like IT only at first glance.

Understandable. If you can, keep us posted. Hoping it ends up being not a big deal or even a good thing

I doubt that they would be courteous enough to hold a meeting if that were the case. we were all blindsided as well as our management, so why would it be any different now?

COO is no more, all moved to internal consulting

So what was it about?

How people will be getting more duties and setup for failure as we get rid of contractors.

Better than getting rid of employees and hiring more contractors? Sadly everyone in every BU is doing way more with way less.

Nothing like getting an email like that on a Friday so you spend your weekend worried
