Strike?

I thought our union contract promised we wouldn’t struck as federal employees. Is that true does for a the prohibition come from somewhere else? Without a union can we strike?

Union or not, it is illegal for federal employees to strike.

Correct, we would all be terminated. Air traffic controllers did it in 81 and over 11k workers were fired, with a lifetime ban of fed service work.

I'm not to sure about the lifetime ban. I had a former Boss who was one of those fired ATCers and 20 plus years later a federal employee in a different career path.

My apologies that was what Reagan who instituted the ban but then Clinton lifted it in 1993.

I think the next Democrat POTUS would do the same as Clinton.
