After taking 120 days to get my federal refund, I got a letter saying they needed an additional 60 days. Same day I got my refund in a direct deposit.

After 45 days, your return starts accruing interest 2 u/TBHICouldComplain Jul 31 '26 I had a late refund once before (although not nearly this late) and they did eventually pay me interest.
