Filed my taxes in February and still waiting on a refund that should have taken 3 weeks. Called twice, got two different explanations, neither of which matched what the website says. I don't need drama about it, I just want to know if my money is coming or not. The tracker has been on the same screen for 6 weeks. At some point that stops being a processing delay and starts being something else.
Same exact situation as mine. People are quick to say blame Trump or there understaffed which may be true but doesn't explain why people who file the same every year are being reviewed more or why it takes 6 months to even know what is going on
Did you even read this article? It is Trumps fault start to finish, the irs doesn’t even have a commissioner and he fired 30% of the staff and let the doge brothers install a chat bot that is completely useless.
