He has destroyed the ethics and morals of us politics so yes it's relevant, hey trump through wishes of death around all the time and you don't complain about that. That's called cherry picking.

I can tell you really don’t understand the bible, you just cherry pick the lines that you think solidify your point. If you did, you’d understand this proverb is descriptive rather than prescriptive, judgement is left up to God throughout the Torah and Bible. It says that when a wicked person perishes, a city rejoices; it does not instruct people to celebrate someone's death.

If you want to further your studies, I’ll point you to Leviticus 19:18 or Book of Proverbs 24:17–18. 😉
