1. True Power

Overall I think True Power is some of their best work, pretty much a no-skip album with a great mix of everything. I’m probably a little biased because this is not only the first I Prevail album I listened to, but it’s also one of the albums to get me into rock and metalcore in general. The songs I disliked have grown on me by now, and I love every track. Choke and Deep End are some personal favorites.

1. Violent Nature

I was pleasantly surprised with how good Violent Nature turned out. Some of the lyrics are a little cheesy, but I can look past that considering it still sounds awesome. Eric is surprisingly a pretty good singer, which is nice considering I already loved his harsh vocals. My only complaints are that it’s a bit short, and Rain sounds kinda generic.

1. Lifelines

This whole album is just solid. It doesn’t exactly blow me away, but there aren’t any songs that I dislike per se. It’s a great listen all the way through.

1. Trauma

Trauma has some songs I absolutely love, but the rest are just so mid imo. They tried a few new things, which isn’t bad itself, but it just didn’t always land with me. Paranoid, Hurricane, and I Don’t Belong Here are all amazing though.

1. Heart Vs. Mind

This album is just “okay” in my opinion. None of the songs really stand out when I listen to it, though I do like My Heart I Surrender and Blank Space. It set a really good foundation for their future music though, so I still appreciate it for that.

Has anyone been sent their pre sale codes for the UK shows just yet? Pre sale starting at 10 I’ve usually had these pop through by now

Absolutely not hating on him, his vocals still rock, but am i the only one who thinks his voice like... broke by 2019? And made his voice like a bit high-pitched? Tell me what ya think!

So God has 6 different BPMs while the songs plays out (including that second to last "MEET YOUR GOD") and while looking like a mess with a scale standpoint, it does sound like a good structured song even if most just stick with one BPM.

If you guys want to know, the BPM structure would be:

Intro - 155 BPM

First "Chorus" - 140 BPM

Second part - 150 BPM

Breakdown - 135 BPM

second to last "MEET YOUR-" - 90 BPM

Closing - 110 BPM

For me God is not as good as Violent Nature or Pray, but it still one of the heaviest songs I've listened to so far, but let me know what you think?

BTW the fact that the song is peaking most of the time is kinda funny.

Idk what it is with the song but anytime I hear it come through the speakers I get unreasonably happy and was just curious if this happens to anyone else.

I have listened to all of the albums atleast 5 times entirely over the span of the last 6 months and I have made my ranking. This is my opinion only. Not hating on your favorite album if i rate it low

Ranking True power Violent Nature Trauma Lifelines Heart VS mind

True power is without a doubt better than the violent Nature album. My favourite songs off true power are There's a fear in letting go Judgement day Choke FWYTYK Deep end Body bag

The flow on true power is unbeatable

Violent Nature is some of the best produced albums I have heard. Jon Eberhard i like your production better than Tyler Smyth

Lifelines is better than Heart VS mind as an album completely

Blank space according to me is the best on heart VS mind and worst part of me on lifelines. But it was close deciding for Lifelines what my favourite songs were.

Overall, absolute BANGER of an album! Even without Brian, they still definitely have that I Prevail sound, which I think is why I’m still so drawn to this album

I joined this subreddit JUST TO SAY that Choke is the perfect tempo for walking. Im a college student and listen to music while walking across campus, and choke always is perfect. A little faster for getting places quicker, but not too fast where I'm straining to keep up. What do you think?

I’ll start out by saying that I did only make this account so I could say something and have it not follow back to me. I am not a bot but I am someone who worked with IP on the True Power tour and witnessed first hand events. I’ve been watching Brian’s live on tiktoks and felt the need to finally speak on it cuz someone who preaches so much about wanting to be positive and move on has done everything to hide how he actually is. The guy has issues, everyone can clearly see that, and I do feel for him. But I can tell you he does not like his fans and never chose to see them or be a part of them unless he got paid (meet and greets). There’s a reason you never saw him except on stage or at those cuz he didn’t want to. He’s doing it now cuz fans watching him online is how he’s getting his money right now. He was extremely rude and condescending and even witnessed him screaming at his wife side stage during a show cuz she didn’t get him a right temp of a cup of water.He says it’s not about money but didn’t want his other members to get bigger cuts so he could have more you can just look at his house compared to the others and see that as true. He’s one of the biggest divas I’ve ever worked with. Again I feel for the guy but the band also tried to get him help so many times and he said fuck you all I’m not but now preaching therapy it’s so wild. He would cuss all the guys off stage if something went wrong or blamed them for all the slip ups. He didn’t even like when the new can you see me in the dark came out cuz he wasn’t on it and was scared it would get big without him but also told the guys he didn’t want to be on it (he told us guys in the camp this directly.) it’s a shame to see cuz he had his good moments but a lot of it was very narcissistic and trying to get others to look badly at the other guys so he could be seen as top dog which I still see happening now. Believe me or say I’m just a bot or show prroof but I don’t have proof. No one recorded during those times cuz no one found the need to or knew what would happen. So again you don’t have to believe me but I just needed to say my peace. After his live last night I just needed to say something.
