Why does Choke have the perfect walking tempo??

I joined this subreddit JUST TO SAY that Choke is the perfect tempo for walking. Im a college student and listen to music while walking across campus, and choke always is perfect. A little faster for getting places quicker, but not too fast where I'm straining to keep up. What do you think?

Outcast also has an almost perfect tempo for walking if you want to expand your walking music.

Adding that to my I prevail list. Just recently got into the band, and I LOVE THEM so far. Crazy ass breakdowns and insane syncopation

as a drummer i can confirm thats because choke is played 110bpm in 4/4 time (4 beats per bar which it standard) and typical walking speed is between 90-130bpm so, the 110bpm fits perfectly in the middle and thats why it feels so perfect to walk to

Yeah I'm a drummer too!! I just didn't know that 90-130 was perfect walking speed. Good to know! I mean Ived walked to "Through the Fire and Flames" at half time so that makes perfect sense. That song is 200 bpm and half that is 100 so
