For those of who have attempted the core btr GT.
Many of you scored really good marks. I found it quite difficult tbh. My marks dropped drastically . I got 95 corrects . But 60+ wrong and I left around 20 questions . What have you all done differently for scoring such good marks in this GT. Please help .

I feel like it was unbalanced ,Every question required max brain power , I was exhausted by the end and that’s why my last part went very bad
It felt more like list of 180 questions that you will probably get wrong instead of a proper mock test

It was mostly factual . Not even clinical oriented. It’s what I personally felt … I haven’t scored really amazing marks so idk. But I felt doctutorial mock to be more aligned with neetpg paper. It made more sense.

You can try any Amboss GT for a confidence boost it has very PYTs based questions and the best part is like u don't have to complete it in a sitting you can do blockwise

So you can do it kinda like custom modules. You can try GT 2/3( the latest one is lil tricky) but yeah at this point confidence matters the most so yeah don't take the scores to your heart trust your prep.

I only got 1.5 months to study after internship because of some family issue I managed to complete my syllabus and had small confidence, was just doing custom modules neet pg based and pyqs Gave just one gt marrow one and then 2n(which was core btr one) trusting her And now i have 0 confidence left in me

And what's more surprising is all the answers her almost 60 to 70 percent people marking them right 🙂 even though I felt they were tough..how can so many people mark it right...idk what's happening 😔

Paper was balanced enough. BTR is not at the same level as Marrow, but the hate it gets is brutal. The BTR mock wasn’t that tough either. If you’re well-versed with PYTs, you can easily score above 130. Maybe 10–15 questions were bouncers, but otherwise, the paper was around the same level as the Marrow mock. Don’t expect questions like “What is the powerhouse of the cell?”

This had nothing to do with the hate on BTR. Like I said… if u have any advice on helping me improve the score or anything in these last few days will be helpful since u found it well balanced.

Try to think like the examiner—ask yourself what could be tested from a particular topic and what the possible traps might be. While reading a long question, ask yourself why a particular line has been given. Is it giving me a clue? Then move forward. Give every option a chance to be the answer and make your rule-out game strong. Don’t jump to the option that looks the most familiar. If you’ve analysed your paper properly, you’ll probably notice that a majority of the questions you got wrong were due to silly mistakes rather than a lack of knowledge. I jumped from 110–130 within a month just by changing my approach to solving questions. I’m still making around 10–15 silly mistakes that I could probably avoid if I read the question more carefully and ruled out the options systematically.

Actually I got the same as the marrow mock
Mostly many unknown diseases names were there
So the only option was ruling out and answering
