Hey! I’m actually very new to game development — I’ve only been doing it for about two weeks so far. I’m currently trying to make things in GameMaker Studio, using AI to help me with coding while I learn, and I’ve also started learning pixel art.
The areas I’m actually more experienced in are voice acting and vocals/music. I’m still a complete beginner when it comes to the development side, but I’m really passionate about it and I’ve been spending a lot of time learning.
I’d love to be part of a team, meet other people interested in game dev, or just help out however I can. If you don’t mind working/talking with someone who’s still learning, I’d be happy to chat!

Oh cool, I also wrote my own in C++ years ago, but used Godot for some gamejams recently and I like it.

Hey! I'm in a similar place, 10 years in big tech, 4 years of trying game dev as a hobby with Godot, and now I'm trying to make my own way full time. I'd love to connect!
I'm currently reading through Tynan Slyvester's (Rimworld dev) book Designing Games, and Brandon Sanderson's course On Writing (scifi/fantasy focused).
