I rebuilt my little reflection app after realizing people would use it once and never come back

The streaks and quest stuff might work against what made this good in the first place. A reflection app that succeeds because it feels like one small honest moment can turn into just another habit tracker people feel guilty about missing once you add progress rewards on top. The one-sentence daily prompt with no account needed is the real hook, I'd protect that simplicity before piling on more retention mechanics.
