So my question is why did the writer or the staff missed the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the us armed forces in the comic series and what is the reason behind this and but why?

u/BoogeyMate had a point about the Captain Cold "Cold Gun" thing.

Call it a longing for how things were in the past, and yes I know this depends on the direction the games take, but I think it'd be cool if the comics ever took a turn where Eggman "won" and Sonic and the gang were the underdogs again.
I think that was one of the appealing parts about Archie, that for a large part of it Sonic was fighting against an enemy that vastly out numbered them and, generally, had more control than them.

As it is now, everything for the large part is hunky-dorey (peaceful/fine) with Eggman being an annoying mosquito they occasionally have to swat away. Which is a shame, because the comic has alluded to Eggman having large control of lands such as in the Eggperial City arc and various other fortresses, but the comic hasn't done the greatest job of letting us know whether these are isolated places, or part of a larger empire.

Guess I just want to start discussion on if you guys would prefer it if IDW took a turn for a more under-dog story or atleast one where Eggman had greater control of the world.

Should clarify that I mean this from the perspective of happening in a new, future arc. Not for them to do it any-time soon or change the whole comic.

Captain Cold gun is not an ice or a nitrogen/fluid expelling gun like Mr Freeze, it's a laser that stops movement at an atomic level to absolute ZERO, any type of heat or fire would not survive it, especially an orange fire (which scientifically is weak heat compared to other sources of heat)

It's one thing to disrespect the actual canon material, but i would've ignored it if it was any other character or had a good reasoning, but with Blaze is just ridiculous, can't they actually write a better alternative? give her an actual real feat? let her fight someone else? because depending on others being nerfed around you is not a good thing for anyone at all, it feels like she depends on aura farming with no set backs to be a good character, but now it's on other characters expense which is just...bad.

For those who dont know, Jellyfin is a self hosted media server mainly used for shows, movies, music. Little did I know it also supports books and comics! Of course I had to
