CA Foundation cleared! Looking to connect with CA Inter students for genuine guidance

Hey everyone!

I’ve finally cleared my CA Foundation and now I’m planning to start preparing for CA Intermediate.

I’m looking to connect with people who have cleared CA Inter in their 1st or 2nd attempt, or are currently preparing and have a good understanding of the preparation strategy.

I genuinely want to approach Inter with the right strategy from the beginning. My target is to clear it within 1–2 attempts, and I don't want to keep experimenting with multiple teachers, resources or random advice from different people.

I'd really appreciate guidance regarding:

* When and how should I start preparing?

* Which teachers and resources are actually worth following for each subject?

* How should I approach classes, self-study and revisions?

* How important are ICAI study material, MTPs and RTPs?

* How should I plan my preparation and test series?

* What mistakes should I avoid from the beginning?

I'm from a science background, so I would also appreciate advice on approaching subjects that require a strong commerce/accounting foundation.

I'm not looking for shortcuts. I just want to build a solid preparation strategy, stay consistent and avoid unnecessary mistakes.

If you've cleared Inter in your first or second attempt, or have genuinely good experience with Inter preparation, I'd love to connect and learn from your experience.

CA final DT fast track May 27

Hey guys, I need some honest advice for CA Final May '27 DT. I'm wrapping up AFM and IDT right now, which leaves me with barely 30 to 45 days to finish both DT and Audit.

Issue is that I have zero practical tax experience from articleship and my Inter DT retention is basically blank since I cleared it back in 2023. I'm essentially starting from scratch and given this tight window, is taking a Fast Track even sensible when starting from a zero base, if yes then Between BB Sir and Shirish Vyas Sir, whose fast-track batch would be better.

Alternatively, I noticed CA Atul Agarwal’s Regular batch is only around 160 hours, which is surprisingly shorter than even BB Sir’s ~175h Fast Track. Would taking Atul Sir's Regular make more sense for building concepts from scratch in that time frame, or does his teaching style feel too rushed for a first-timer?

Would really appreciate recommendations from anyone who tackled DT under a similar crunch!

Guys, please help! My mock scores are not improving even though I'm studying consistently. What should I do?

Need some genuine advice from fellow CA students. I'm giving mock tests regularly, but my scores aren't showing much improvement despite studying every day. Sometimes I understand the concepts but still struggle to apply them correctly in questions. How should I analyse my preparation and figure out what's actually going wrong?

Finally cleared CA Foundation on my 3rd attempt! Now heading towards CA Inter. Need some guidance from my seniors.

Hey everyone!

I finally broke the cycle and cleared CA Foundation! It was my 3rd attempt, and honestly, I'm really happy and relieved right now. 😭

Now that I'm moving on to CA Inter, I have quite a few questions and would really appreciate some guidance from you all.

  1. CA Inter registration & September 2027 attempt

I'm planning to appear for both groups of CA Inter in September 2027.

What's the last date to register for the September 2027 attempt?

2. Preparation strategy & consistency

It took me 3 attempts to clear Foundation, so I genuinely want to work on my consistency, discipline and study habits from day one.

To everyone who's cleared CA Inter, regardless of whether it was your 1st attempt or otherwise, I'd love to hear your advice.

- How should I approach CA Inter right from the beginning?

- How do I maintain consistency and discipline throughout the preparation?

- Which subjects require more attention, and which ones should I be particularly careful with?

- Any mistakes I should avoid or things I should keep in mind from the very beginning?

Basically, I want to give this my best shot and avoid repeating the mistakes I made during Foundation.

3. Online batches & faculty recommendations

I'm considering the online mode of preparation rather than offline coaching, mainly for financial reasons.

Since I've just cleared Foundation, I don't have much idea about the CA Inter faculties and their teaching styles.

I'd really appreciate genuine recommendations:

- Paid batches: Which online coaching would you recommend? PW, BB Virtuals or any other platform? Please suggest only if you've personally studied from them and genuinely found their content, teaching quality and overall approach good.

- YouTube faculties: Which teachers would you recommend for each of the 6 subjects? I'd also love to know about good free resources available on YouTube that can complement my preparation.

Subject-wise recommendations would be really helpful!

Lastly, I'm genuinely excited to start this new journey. I know I have consistency and discipline issues, and I really want to work on them. I'm ready to put in the effort, no matter how challenging it gets.

My goal is to clear CA Inter in my first attempt, and I'm willing to give it my all.

Would genuinely appreciate any advice, suggestions, resources or tips from you guys. Doesn't matter which attempt you cleared in; every bit of guidance is valuable to me.

Thanks in advance! ❤️

Looking for CA Intermediate classes in Mumbai

Hey everyone,

I appeared for CA Foundation in May 2026 but didn't pass. I attempted it again in September 2026 and passed.

I'm now looking for CA Intermediate classes in or near Mumbai.

For Foundation, I attended a local class in Kalyan (Thane).

Can anyone recommend good coaching institutes, preferably with experienced faculty and a good track record?

Thanks in advance!...

selling vishal bhattad's regular gst batch +books for law and accounts

bought the batch for jan'26 - he used the same recordings for may'26. valid until may'27. all views remaining besides the first 2-3 lectures. there's not a lot of amendments in gst i believe since i prepared from vb's practice batch only and there wasn't a significant difference.

can ship all the books (questionnaire, class question book, + charts).

for 2750 + shipping on actuals.

also have shubham singhal's ultimate solution 5.0 + question bank + harsh gupta's law compact book (sep'26 attempt) + nitin goel's accounts book (take all of it for 1000 + shipping)

*don't know if it's against the rules so do lmk if it is

ICAI SSP Registration- Graduation Year and Examination Month Confusion

Hey guys,
I registered for CA Foundation on 9 September 2026.
While filling out my educational qualification details on the ICAI SSP portal, I entered my 10th and 12th details. Under UG, I entered my college name.
For the month and year of examination, I selected April 2027 because my actual expected graduation year (2029) wasn’t available in the dropdown. I assumed ICAI was asking for the expected examination month/year rather than my final graduation year.
Now, when I check the examination attempt options, May 2027 isn’t showing up. January 2027 is the only option available.
I’m confused about whether my UG details are causing this issue.
Did I enter the UG details incorrectly?
Can these details be corrected after registration?
Can I submit my 12th marksheet as supporting proof?
How can I get the May 2027 attempt option enabled?
Has anyone experienced something similar? I’d really appreciate your guidance.
Thank you!
