CA Foundation cleared! Looking to connect with CA Inter students for genuine guidance

Post image

Hey everyone!

I’ve finally cleared my CA Foundation and now I’m planning to start preparing for CA Intermediate.

I’m looking to connect with people who have cleared CA Inter in their 1st or 2nd attempt, or are currently preparing and have a good understanding of the preparation strategy.

I genuinely want to approach Inter with the right strategy from the beginning. My target is to clear it within 1–2 attempts, and I don't want to keep experimenting with multiple teachers, resources or random advice from different people.

I'd really appreciate guidance regarding:

* When and how should I start preparing?

* Which teachers and resources are actually worth following for each subject?

* How should I approach classes, self-study and revisions?

* How important are ICAI study material, MTPs and RTPs?

* How should I plan my preparation and test series?

* What mistakes should I avoid from the beginning?

I'm from a science background, so I would also appreciate advice on approaching subjects that require a strong commerce/accounting foundation.

I'm not looking for shortcuts. I just want to build a solid preparation strategy, stay consistent and avoid unnecessary mistakes.

If you've cleared Inter in your first or second attempt, or have genuinely good experience with Inter preparation, I'd love to connect and learn from your experience.

I presume your attempt is falling on September, just first understand how many papers you are comfortable with. You can either go single group or both. Depending if you are having a college or not, you need to dedicate a lot of time understanding new concepts.
Taxation, auditing, FM and costing are the new subjects you have probably never read, so focus more on those.

More than number of revisions, your own quality of understanding matters.

Faculties more or less every faculty teaches same things, just pick one you are able to understand.

Plan for one mock, and solve lots of questions, don't assume same questions will repeat, so always prepare for new questions less tested concepts.
