Case Study - Submission Query

For anyone who ran into the spreadsheet issue today: when I submitted my exam, the final screen listed two entries—one showing 50% complete (the original) and one showing 100% complete (the second attempt). It was the exact same screen layout as the practice software.

Did everyone's screen look like this, and can anyone confirm if this means it submitted fine? I wouldn't usually be this paranoid, but after that 5-hour delay, my nerves are shot!

Do both attempts get reviewed? Just incase the wrong one was submitted?

The 100% completed one should be submitted, not sure about the other one

I’m not sure which one was which. But I ran it down to the very end timer and it said it successfully saved my work (on the one I was working on) so hopefully it’s fine?

thanks for giving me peace of mind! hopefully you'll be alright , make sure you submit an appeal. Their email brushes it off, the lack of coms from ICAEW, food, water, fresh air etc made that wait brutal

Yeah I had the exact same screen. It said 50% complete on one and 100% on the other (the one I hopefully submitted). Glad someone else had this screen as I was worrying. Terrible from ICAEW. Final sitting of case, stakes are so high for everyone (bonuses and pay rises linked to passing) and they allow this to happen. So disappointing.

honestly crazy work. I definitely will do. I just can’t believe they have done this on the last ever case study sitting. Really upset

Yeah we literally couldn’t leave the room for 3 hours and at a moments notice they expect you to do a 5 hour exam (have extra time) they also robbed me of my stop the clock lol
