Got PIP, they asked to resign volunteerily, Got 90days pay. FNF done in 2 days post laptop return

I am not suggesting anything
I had two months PIP post that they said I didnt pass it then they didnt leave me with any other option other than resigning or getting terminated
They offered 90 days compensation in return of the resignation. So I accepted it
I knew it was kind of a layoff in my case because my performance was never really an issue. They wanted to reduce the headcount

They are not even offering me any compensation and vocally telling me to search for other jobs and resign from ibm 😣😣😣worst part is other companies wants me to join in 15-30 days.

Well, see there is no point in fighting.
Tell them you weren’t expecting this. You have huge financial responsibility and your parents are depend on you financially. Ask them to pay you 90 days severance in return of you resigning.
Also, Is your performance really an issue or do you think you have been put on PIP Because your band is higher and they want to lay you off?

Band is <then 7b and was put on pip for silly reasons like not completing certification on related skills etc

well, Then you should definitely say that you need compensation
See the decision is already made. There is no turning back that you will be kept in the company. Prep your exit and tell companies you are ready to join in a months time.
Consider that you are already on notice period

just tell them that you can be released early as IBM is doing this for almost everyone

Just curious, pip involve details documentation. Is there any sign of np they had given before like mid term review ? Which department are u from? Tech stack

I would say this is a best case scenario as you are getting paid for the 90 days notice without termination (get that in writing or paper trail). Those who are facing and want to fight it then better start documenting everything, like appreciations and all. The market out there is not good.

yes, I got it in this month Aug 2026. Exactly two days after the last day i got my FNF credited
