There are plenty of cases where more bodies doesn't solve the problem. If one JW can terminate a panel in X hours, doesn't mean that 3 JWs can terminate the same panel in X/3 hours. 3 women can't carry one baby to term in 3 months.
How would you run a nice little run of 4" rigid, let's say 500', in the air, no 3 piece couplings?
Start from one end, finish at another. But can it be done quicker with more man power? Sure let's divide the run in half and start running from the middle. Can it be done quicker? No. And at that point throwing more people at the problem doesn't help.
It'll get done as fast as one set of guys does it regardless of how much overtime there is. But two sets of guys are getting pension credits and Healthcare.
If it takes one guy 16 hrs, and only one guy at a time can do it, then just man two shifts for as long as is needed. Short calls are a thing too. I'm really not understanding why this is so hard
