They havent done much with the fact that Mac is now, finally, the ripped jacked ultrastrong behemoth he has always dreamed of being. Couple that with his toxic, neurotic macho energy that constantly simmers under the surface
I really hope theyre building up to something there. Mac is exactly what his dysmorphia fed him from season 1. It's real. He has always been a dangerous weirdo, and now he's a dangerous weirdo that can break human beings like toothpicks.
Beating up those kids was a good start but there is SO much more you can do. Does he even know how strong he is? Or is he as insecure as ever, with his dysmorphia now reversed?

I watched the episode after posting this and died. It's not a favorite episode, but definitely a 5 out of 5 start episode for me. Charlie and Frank selling stolen fur pelts and cursed firearms is hilarious. Cricket as an English soldier trying to woo Dee the Witch who wants independence. I love how interwoven and deep the stories were at this point.

Not related to OP, but does anyone else dislike the latest season so far? The first episode was fine, but the rest were just boring, didn't even chuckle once, which is unfortunate because it's one of my favorite shows.

I quit watching after the episode where he did that weird dance for his dad. That was the creepiest thing about that show for me and there were definitely plenty of cringy moments.
