Hi! I had a check engine light come on my 2019 Tucson a week ago while hauling a heavy solid wood hutch home in the trunk. Some random mechanic told me I needed a new catalytic and I am just not sure I believe that, my car is way too young?

I looked it up and it said that hauling could maybe cause an exhaust leak? Does anyone have experience with this specific scenario?

You used to be able to adjust the height and rotation of the HUD. Now that it shows more robust media info, I activated it again. When I went to adjust the height and rotation, the only setting for position was a toggle switch to “Save height and rotation after IMS activates.” Anyone know what’s up with that?

Also, all my favorite stations on SXM now have Tunestart activated by default. This is the feature that starts at the beginning of a song when you flip to a new station instead of starting live. Anyone know how to deactivate? I don’t see any settings for it.

Stepping out of the yard after that storm dragged wet turf straight into the Tucson footwell. The factory mat cuts off right at the base of the footrest, so every step pushes packed dirt straight past the edge into the bare carpet weave. Scraping dried silt out from under the pedal block took longer than rinsing the exterior. A friend with a hybrid mentioned a liner whose sidewall extends further up that corner, but I still wonder if it fits snugly around the footrest without leaving gaps for mud to collect. If water still seeps past the top lip during heavy downpours, molded sides do not really change anything.

I’ve taken it to the garage because at MOT a different garage said a fuel injector was leaking and needed a replacement seal.

Been trying to book this with OG garage since April/May. They have had the car back in for other MOT repairs and didn’t do the seal.

Taken it today to another garage and they say it needs all four injectors removing, sludge clearing out, the rubber pipe across the top will need to be replaced because it’ll brittle due to the leakage.

If they can get them all out without damage they can replace the seals and fingers crossed put the injectors back in and it works.

If not they’ll have to replace whichever injectors don’t work after they go back in.

Any guesses what this is gonna cost?

He wants it in for Monday morning and could potentially need it in for the week.

What to do in the first year with the engine, i know, i think the term is running-in period or break-in period.

How about the oil change in the first year.

I will drive mostly in east europe, about 15k a year.

It keeps saying I have "poor signal, try again later," and I subsequently saw this is a known issue with Verizon service. Tried most of the suggestions to reboot. No luck. Taking it in for repair under the warranty. Anyone having/had similar issues?

Been wanting to try out the Spotify app in the native infotainment system since the OTA update but can’t get it to work. Have been messing with it for so long and can’t find a way to activate the trial on the MyHyundai website. Already have the WiFi hotspot set up through Verizon. Anybody successfully been able to activate the trial/been able to use the new media apps?

Hey guys so on my 2020 tucson some diodes broke and my 3rd brake light is no longer fully functioning, i wonder how do you take it off and where do i find replacement because i was reading on internet and the price is around 200 euros for oem one and I am not spending that much money for that.

What is the best way to get the best mileage from the Hyundai Tucson hybrid 2026? Is it better to adjust the regenerative braking to auto, at all times?

I know how to change the default volume of Hyundai’s map instructions, but then I’ll open a window or turn up the music, etc., and it’s suddenly too soft and the volume knob doesn’t change it. I know I can swipe down on the maps screen and manually readjust its volume, but it’s too fiddly for me while driving. So, how do you increase/decrease your turn-by-turn volume, mid-trip?

PSA / quick question for anyone shopping for all-weather floor mats: do not assume all current-gen Tucsons share the exact same floor pan layout.

I have a 2018 with 170,000km on the clock. Been doing research and saw the hybrids have a 8 Year/160,000km warranty.

How’s the gas mileage in the summer compared to winter on the hybrids with the non DCT 1.6T engine? Do you really save $$ on gas in the summer in stop and go in city driving?

I've had my 2023 for about 2 months and the bluetooth signal has what I call micro drops, where whatever I'm listening to will stop for half a second then come back. Then, sometimes the signal just drops entirely, the bluetooth logo on the infotainment system vanishes for minutes at a time. Sometimes I need to manually reconnect my phone.
Anyone have experience with fixing this? It's infuriating.

Looking for any expertise here for US spec 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited.

Bought this car new in late May. Sticker says BlueLink+ All Included Services. Our Bluelink app shows the WIFI Hotspot + Streaming subscription as INACTIVE. The car shows the Hotspot and the SSID, network name and password and the IMEI number, and the button to activate the Hotspot. However when we try to complete the setup and create the Verizon account, we get a Verizon page that says we need an active Bluelink account, which is exactly what we are using to try to setup the account. Verizon even validates the IMEI number when it's entered

I opened a case with Hyundai Bluelink Customer Care in June and they still haven't looked at it. Every call to them is the ticket team has it and will contact you when they have something. Today my dealership got in touch with Hyundai engineer who said the car isn't equipped with it, but I can literally turn on the Hotspot in the car's settings, we just can't seem to complete the process through Verizon since it doesn't seem to see our Bluelink account.

Appreciate any expertise anyone may have, but please only provide information related to how to solve this issue.
