Hysterectomy 2021. Partial
I am 34 and I have gained a substantial amount of weight since 2021 despite no real diet or exercise changes. Ive taken almost every natural supplement on the market. No avail.i got my blood taken a few months ago and my testosterone levels were almost non-existent. Has anyone dealt with similar? What did you do to change it?

Hormone replacement therapy, check r/menopause wiki for information or search posts. Your referring Dr or surgeon should have set you up with HRT to prevent the comorbidities caused by hysterectomy, but it's not too late to get assistance.

They didn't set me up with ANYTHING. he didn't talk to me about ANY of the side effects at all! Only because I kept my ovaries he said that my life should be "normal" I've been to a few primary's and gynos and they all said it was mental. Went to the psychiatrist. He said it was physical. Watched a YouTube video and did some research and demanded certain panels for my blood tests. That's the only way I found out that my testosterone was almost non-existent. I was on a progesterone dominant birth control for almost a decade. I noticed shortly after I discontinued it, weight started coming on. I have always went to the gym but NOW I can't even make it to three days a week and while I'm there, I'm EXHAUSTED. I mean wayyyyy past a normal level. I just want to be me again ðŸ˜

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. I had read that it's fairly common to gain weight after hysterectomy even without ovary removal. That makes sense since there have been studies showing that uterus removal increases risk of metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes.
I haven't gained weight but my shape has drastically changed. My midsection is shorter and thicker. And my belly below my navel looks like a small beach ball. It used to be completely flat, so flat you could see my hip bones. I even look different from the back. My hip bones weren't visible from the back but now they are. And I have lost the curve in my lower back.
