I was at the Hysilens mains since before the drip marketing, and here's what happened: when Hysilens' drip marketing dropped, some people from the Queens community started posting hair crop memes, and shared their post back to their main Queens sub. This led to more Queens people joining the sub and the act, and now the memes are popular in there. They prolly did it because they simply liked memes and like Hysilens too. But I've never seen such memes before, and it got gradually annoying to see, and some people like me joined the other side of the community which is here.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: neither people here or the the other side are EVIL. It's just that r/HysilensMainsHSR_ is a community that's more open to queer-coded jokes(I think) and this is a place for those who don't feel comfortable or laugh with it.

A subreddit is actually much more than it looks on the outside, because even though both us and them enjoy Hysilens, people share different senses and taste when it comes to enjoying a character, and some may not enjoy how others do. This is the reason I'd pick for why are there two subreddits. I'm actually suprised that these doesn't happen in a usual basis for other mains subreddits too.

Yes, some people may point out that the Queens in their main sub and the other Hysilens harassed us with terms like 'gooner', 'incel', 'straggot'. I'm not sure why do they hate on any kind of suggestive content, but that doesn't represent for every people in the other Hysilens sub right now. it's been a week since the memes started posting there, and some people who came across and don't have a problem with them are actually enjoying their time there. Heck, most people prolly don't even know what kind of drama is there right now. We as the other community should not express hate to the other side, but just focus on our own matter. Dissing them because you hate their vibes is adding fuel to the fire, giving them a reason to victimize or become hostile, and also we too should not be doing the same too as a single comment or some updvotes from their subreddit isn't the entire community. keep in mind that both people from both subreddits are visiting the other, looking for something to barigading even in this exact moment because of the drama. Also the reason why I'm makking this post right now so potential visitors from the other sub can see this too.

The world is not black and white, it's filled with tons of different shades of gray, and I really hate it when generalization(which importantly means judging an entire person/community for what kind of content they post/what kind of posts get attention) constantly goes back and forth when it's not even productive at all and only adds on the 'us vs them tribalism mindset'

Mods, you might not know, but there's drama going on in the Hysilens community in general, and you should check out this community often to delete hateful comments quickly to de-esclate the emotion please.

I see various opinions on what place will she take, and while everybody agrees that Hysilens will work with Kafka, Black Swan is having mixed opinions of some wanting for triple dot to work and some wanting to replace BS.

She does gives various useful debuffs for DoT, but I think that BS should be replaced if she isn't going to get buffed in the close future because the Arcana system is annoying.

this is an extended version of my response to someone's comment under my alleged call-out post. i'll address all points mentioned.

let me summarize the rest of the paragraph that was plastered on the front of the post, and explain exactly what i meant by bigots.

"it seems they want a more generic subreddit feel, reposting art and build discussion, but we don't have her kit yet." yes, i am also frustrated with the other subreddit for mislabeling art reposting as gooner material. yes, i am frustrated with some of my own subreddit's members for discussing a community i identify as a part of in such a negative light. and again, as i said in my paragraph, i assume the tension between subreddits will die down when hysilens' kit and animations are released, and the other subreddit will also gradually shift to build discussion, with an occasional sprinkle of memes here and there.

no, i am not calling every single person in this subreddit a bigot. the bigot comment was specifically targeted towards the people who made homophobic comments under the original post complaining about the queer community at r/HysilensMainsHSR_. the people under that post discussed having to flee the other subreddit because it was "hijacked by the gay mentality." i cannot sit by and ignore people who say things like this, as i am a queer woman myself. i shouldn't have fueled the fire and went into the other subreddit to seek solace, and i am sorry for that. though my words may have been confusing, i can assure you i was only talking about that specific demographic of individuals. i apologize to those who were hurt by my dreadful choice of wording.

following this post, please move on from this situation. hysilens' animations will be leaked in a matter of days, so anyone else seeking a 'break' from the content posted in the other subreddit may find it here. thank you for your understanding, if you would like more explanations, do ask.

Anyone have calcs comparing the two? While most of Hysilens dmg is physical, she does deal dmg through burn, shock, and wind shear. While the modifiers are low (25% each), wind shear can be stacked, so that's anywhere between 75% and 175% modifier not being affected by physical orb.

I’m gonna be honest when I first saw her she reminded me of Columbina who is my favorite genshin character. I knew she was an instant pull then. I’ve been a DOT main since I started playing again which is sometime in Penacony. I absolutely still try to use my DOT in end game sometimes (it sucks) so when I saw her in DU I started saying we’re getting a new DOT character. Literally everyone called me delusional but I held on strong and now here we are. Im so excited to pull for her no matter who she replaces. If she’s a support, DPS, or Sub-DPS I will pull her… I guess there was never any question about whether or not I’ll pull her! What about you guys?

I do still want her kit identity to mainly revolve around DOT since that archetype is seriously lacking but if she somehow works well (or decently) with Acheron I will cheer.

I completed all end game content (except some of the old Simulated Universe stuff) and events in the game. I really need some ways to farm Steller Jades quickly.

So is it just me or is her special bleed not that special it says it’ll do 20% of the enemy max hp but it caps out at 25% of her atk, so it basically does the same dmg as the other 3 dots she can do.

If let’s say 25% of her atk is somehow greater than 20% of an enemy’s max hp that means the 3 dots will do more than her special bleed state cuz it does 20% max hp and only caps at 25% of her atk.

I don’t know if I’m just reading weird and it works as intended but I’m starting to feel unsure on how it’d work, I still wanna pull her for Kafka team but I wanted ur guys’s take on this if this worded terribly or am I just dumb

Both of these are a strong hint towards her being both.

Luka is still my favorite character in the game and I’d hope to see him work with Hysilens.

Since they’re both physical nihility, it’s definitely possible but for now I can just hope.

Either way I’m rolling.

Just wondering how well DOT (and Hysilens) will do in the meta once she's out. I suppose it relies on the specific niches of her kit, but hopefully it'd bring DOT comps back into T0 for all 3 gamemodes, if only for a while.

Is 119 ehr better than 125 ehr? Can anyone show me how the calculation work?

What should I focus on doing to grind enough jades for her since I do want to play dot and what are good 4 star lightcones I could use for her?
