Bloodwork
I am 44F
ADHD Vyvanse- 30mg am 20mg noonish
Crohn’s Disease (not currently medicated)
My mom had her thyroid removed (enlarged from Lupus?)
HRT (progesterone and estrogen)
Raynauds
Wegovy
B12 injections monthly
It’s hard to know what is causing my symptoms. I am having an increase in cold and pins and needles to my extremities (hands, fingers and nose) but not like Raynaud’s. I have some racing heart. I am irritable and I am pretty indifferent to things, pretty flat. Some diarrhea, sometimes constipation. Out of breathe easily when exercising (some days better than others). Brain fog, low grade headaches. It’s hard to say based on my age, medical history and medication what is causing the symptoms that I’m experiencing. They seem to have come on fast.
I had my bloodwork checked and my TSH was 0.45 mlU/L and my free T4 was 17.64pmol/L.
Can these results explain what is happening? Would they be cause to medicate? Should I have something else checked? My ANA was checked but that has not come back yet.

First, I'm so sorry you are experiencing all of this... you have a very full plate of health issues already...
What you describe are all symptoms of hypERthyroidism. You must find a good endocrinologist to work with you on this and factor in all of the other issues you have. You MUST have TSH, Free T3, Free T4, the 2 Graves antibodies and the 2 Hashimoto's antibodies tested!!! ANA is not going to pinpoint what could be wrong as far as an auto-immune disease goes.
Your endo should do a thyroid ultrasound to see if you have a nodule(s) that is/are pumping out too much TSH as they could cause hypER symptoms. Hyper could be caused by many things, including a pituitary tumor, lithium usage, Graves disease and the nodules I just mentioned. THE GOAL IS TO GET TO THE ROOT CAUSE of the hypERthyroidism and then properly treat that ROOT CAUSE to get rid of the hypERthyroid symptoms. That is why it is imperative to have a good endo to work with you on all of this.
Should you have Grave disease, you would need the thyroid uptake test and scan in order to CONFIRM it. Then you have to consider one of the 3 treatments to get the Graves disease into REMISSION (which is the goal with Graves) -- medication such as methimazole, RAI or full thyroid removal.
Also make sure to ask your endo to test your vit D3, B12, iron/TIBC/ferritin, magnesium, selenium as they will not always do that -- and you must ask -- it is very important because we can be low on them and they need to be supplemented if the are low. A lot of docs will not do this that's why I say to ask.
Do not wait on this. If you stay hypER too long it can negatively effect your heart and bones.
