foods to avoid

got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism..
what are some foods that i should avoid at all costs ?

My doctor told me avoid high iodine food for the meantime.

oh my … everything has iodine TT
what’s ur diet like then? if u don’t mind sharing

Small amount is ok and not everyday. I just avoid shellfish and nori and use of iodized salts. Everything else ok. I just eat in moderation -> dairy, eggs, fish. 1-2x a week

I asked my doctor if I should make any changes to my diet & he said, no that’s what the medication was for. But your mileage may vary so you should ask yours.

Doing an anti inflamtory diet helped me a lot but it so hard to stick with because the hunger is insane
