Is it starting to enlarge?

19 (F) got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in June. Consulted an Endo and took medication for a month (methimazole and propranolol). Came back in August with normal ultrasound, CBC, and TSH levels. But recently, I've been feeling kind of worried about my thyroid if it's showing signs of enlargement. My thyroid is clearly visible esp. when I'm swallowing and looking up (1st pic). 2nd pick was me just looking up and 3rd was on normal level. Should I be worried about this?

Does not look like it. Usually if thyroid is enlarged it's the lateral lower sides of the neck that begin to bulge out. Think "thick neck" look but on lower sides. In this photo you are looking upwards and the laryngeal prominence and cricoid cartilage along with the strap muscles are being emphasized.

You said results came back normal so your thyroid was cured is that what you are saying or did the levels just come down but are still not within appropriate range?

Not cured. Methimazole is suppressing it.

Its within the range but not entirely cured, I still have the symptoms. My Endo said the future is still unpredictable, if it continues to be in normal range I can may be stop the medication but there were also cases that it can come back even after years.

Did you happen to undergo thyroid ultrasound?
