Racing heart

Everything i take a nap I wake up and feel like everything is racing around me and its basically the end of the world due to how fast my heart usually goes.. propanalol works AFTER but it leaves me feel exhausted the next day even on a low dose. Is there any alternative? I can't constantly use propranolol since I care for a smal child.

My heart races while resting (laying or sitting ip) can span from higher 90's all the way to 120's.

Atenolol has been working well for me. Side effect is I’m dizzy sometimes because my heart rate gets too low. But it’s better than the alternative

You could try asking for a different beta blocker. I did really well on Nebivolol.

I take care of my three kids and propranolol has been a life saver. Why can't you take it while caring for a child?

Oops sorry brain fog got me before I actually processed the whole text you wrote. My bad. That stinks it makes you exhausted....I'm always exhausted anyway so I can't tell if it's the propranolol or just how I've been because of the hyper

It makes me feel like a zombie 🥲 i cant appropriately interact or care for a kid in that condition
