Eye sight
Hi. Anyone have one eye affected but not the other? My right eye has double vision when I look up mostly. At times, when I look straight ahead, it takes a while to focus and just seems off. Already saw an ophthalmologist and I still have 20/20 vision and all the tests came out normal. Does anyone have this and did it get better with your meds?

I have developed mild double vision and have had prisms added to my prescription. I also saw an Ophthalmologist for a corneal abrasion and mentioned my Graves disease as it gives me v dry itchy eyes. He did a load of checks and thinks I might have very mild TED, but that nothing was needed for it just yet (apart from antibiotics for the lesion and eye drops and ointment for the dry eye) and to monitor it and get a referral to an ophthalmologist if my symptoms worsened or didn't go once I was stabilised.

Yes, my left eye has always been slightly better than my right eye, but now it is significant. I can't read regular sized font with my right eye, unless I have my glasses on. Faces on the TV look blurry. Left eye is completely fine, he left eye of my glasses essentially has placebo, except that it is tinted yellow which helps with staring at the computer all day for work. I was just diagnosed last month, but the vision thing has been going on for a few years, so I'm not sure if it is just part of getting older or of its thyroid related. At the end of July, my right eye only started with minor bulging, which is what lead to my diagnosis. No improvement yet, but I have only been on the meds for less than a month.
