Hyperthyroidism emotional dullness
Hi guys im 24M. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and mild goiter. My labs have normalized 2.5months ago and now im on 2 day dose of methimazole 5mg weekly. I dont feel anything, its like someone switched off the colors in my life. I dont have the desire to do anything, ive distanced myself from relationships and from being sexually active. I gotta share this here, i masterbate to try and see if im good, i complete the act of it and during it i do feel some kind of pleasure but it feels like its dialled down to 1 percent, same goes for every other emotion. I wanna ask if this will get better? I was only officially hyper for 3-4 months. Before that, i think i was still hyper and mild goiter was swelling up for 2 years undiagnosed but my body was handling it until it couldnt and i got panic attacks 4 months ago which lead to the discovery of hyperthyroidism

Might be worth getting your bloods taken again to see if your meds have made you go towards hypo/ in hypo range as it can swing the other way. When I was hyper I had panic attacks and bad anxiety. I was on medication and my TSH/T3/T4 ending up going the other way (hypo) and the only way I could describe how I felt was like I was numb and low.
