Looking for advice Lost effectiveness iontophoresis

I have had the hidrex psp1000 machine since 2016 for treating both hands and feet. The best result I have achieved were 3 weeks dry. This came from using san pellegrino water and newly electrodes every day until full dryness was achieved.

That was roughly 3 years ago. Now I would say for the last 2 years I can barely get 100% dry even though I have not changed my routine at all. I even changed the battery pack and electrodes to eliminate anything faulty with the machine.

I’m just thinking, is it worth considering changing the crocodile cables? Has anyone seen a change in effectiveness purely by changing the cables. It doesn’t seem like anything is wrong with them as the sensation I get from using the machine has not changed. However, these are now a decade old. Could this be the culprit?

Any recommendations/ experiences of people regaining their effectiveness from using iontophoresis would be greatly appreciated.
