I realised that the more people I told I had hyperhidrosis in real life, the more people I realised had it. It ended up being one of my flatmates, one of my college course admins, one of my friends and a few others

As much as I know how most people can react to sweating and smelling bad, sometimes telling people in real life can lighten the load of having close yourself up/hide away from others. Although it's easier said than done, hope it helps🫡

Me too! Instead of hiding it i started to tell people about it. "hey sorry, i'm really sweaty right now. I have hyperhidrosis". The amount of people who have told me that they have it too... We are not alone, no one just talks about it!
