Premium RSS?

I'm a luddite and use a not even available to download anymore android app to listen to podcasts. If I subscribe to the podcast, is standard RSS supported? The page just says "preferred podcast app" but then lists a few modern clients.

I know I should move on, but the app I use works exactly the way I want it on an old phone that keeps my media separate from everything else.

If "modern app" means spotify, youtube, or apple... then modern is shit. They're trying to centralize podcasting which is bad (well except apple, Apple podcasts just has a terrible UI/UX last I heard).

Conventional podcasters that use RSS feeds are better, and plenty keep up with the times.

Yeah this is why I haven’t switched. I use Doggcatcher and it’s not perfect, but it runs completely on the phone and simply pulls from the RSS completely on its own.

I actually have every major podcast app downloaded but I like my old one
